We usually reply within 24–48 hours. Include your Travus username and a short description of the issue.
Download Travus from the App Store, then sign up with email and password or use Sign in with Apple or Google. You must choose a unique @username and complete required profile details (including date of birth). Apple or Google may share your name and email when you first sign in, but your Travus username is always the one you set in the app.
You may be asked to finish required profile steps before certain features or offers appear. This keeps the community safer and ensures your experience matches your account type.
For some actions (such as creating trips), Travus requires identity verification so hosts and travelers can trust who they are meeting. Verification is processed by our partner Sumsub.
Verification is a one-time In-App Purchase through Apple. The exact price is shown in the app at checkout in your local currency and may change by region or over time.
Travus Plus is a subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks higher limits and features in the app, such as unlimited trip applications and unlimited active trips and trip creations (subject to fair-use rules shown in the app), plus perks like advanced filters and read receipts where available.
Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → select Travus. Apple handles billing, renewals, and refunds according to Apple’s policies.
Use the Discover tab: switch between Trips (browse listings) and People (search travelers by @username). Tap a trip to apply—the owner decides. Filters and search refine results; when you scroll, the top bar moves aside so more cards fit, and a round up-arrow button jumps back to the top. Create your own trip from My Trips. Verification and plan limits apply as shown in the app.
When you apply to a trip, the owner can accept or decline. Accepted applications appear under Matches: Requests (incoming applications), Messages, and Groups. Each row shows the trip, @username, verification when applicable, and trip status (e.g. Trip active). Tap the row or the chevron to open chat. You can report or block from profile and chat options where available.
Use in-app account or profile settings to delete your account where the option is provided. Deletion is permanent. If you cannot find it, email support@travus.co from your registered email.
We use encrypted connections for our API and industry-standard practices to protect your account. Read our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and who we share with (for example, Apple for purchases, Sumsub for verification).
